Smoochie is a way of life, it's important to respect our bodies and feed them "bis-sens". Our aim is to combine traditional agricultural values with modern process and filling technology to ensure that all its products are 100% natural, delicious and healthy.
Why use artificial additives, preservatives or flavours when you don’t need to? We don’t, and we never will. We use the most modern packing environment that’s 100% clean so we don’t need to use preservatives. But it's equally important to respect the environment and try to reduce our carbon footprints as much as we possible can.
We’re are also a bit obsessed with the environment – we produce PET bottles made from recycled PET – again a first for Malta, and we are also responsible for our own waste we even separate our waste, and reduce and reuse. Its great fun because we take it as a challenge and keep nudging each other for more.
We'd love to photovoltaic cells on our rood but can't afford it as yet, however all our hot water is heated by the sun through solar panels. All our lights are energy saving. We try to use primarily local fruit but in case of tropical fruit, we never use air or road transport, only sea, which is more environmentally friendly - we hope.
We use recycled paper when we can and no no we don't roll the labels on our laps...(that's cuban cigars not smoothies!!)
